3hour week emerged in 2008, born out of a passion for real music and lyrics that have purpose.
The four piece original indie rock band are driven by the desire to encapsulate people into their tunes with some great hooks and heartfelt lyrics, inspired by big names such as Bloc Party, Two Door Cinema Club, Drive By Argument and The Foals.
Like a rocket, the Lincolnshire-based band sped into the gig circuit and immediately took their local music scene by storm with their energetic blend of disco beats, driving bass lines and relentless guitar riffs, quickly developing a solid fanbase.
In 2009 the band hit the studio and recorded their first demo CD, and are now in the process of recording a second CD with new material they have been working on.
The band consists of lead singer and rhythm guitarist David Gough, lead guitarist Daniel Richardson, bassist and synths Ross Simpson, and drummer Jack Simpson.
