The singer, guitarist and pianist has been playing for 13 years, and has received positive reviews from Radio1, Kerrang!, BBC Introducing and various magazines. Appealing to a wide range of ages, Andy Doonan performs his own songs as well as popular covers, from The Killers to Damien Rice.
Following the 2011 release of his debut album Lights and Mirrors recorded by the Pigeon Detectives producer Andy Hawkins, Doonan has been aired on Tom Robinson s BBC Radio 6 Music and has had regular features and sessions on local BBC Introducing radio shows.
Gigging relentlessly with high profile acts such as Toploader, The Hoosiers, The Charlatans, The Staves, Hue and Cry, The Twang, Jon Allen, Peter Grant, Brian Houston, and appearing at the London O2 Arena over the last year, has seen him begin to make waves on the music scene.
His new material sees an independent artist going own way, after turning down The Voice UK who scouted him to compete in this year's TV series.
