live band

Formed in early 2009, CREAMFUL are a five piece band from Essex who try and re-create that unforgetable vibe created by Clapton, Bruce and Baker, better known as CREAM in 1966.

The band have no interest in simply being a "look-alike 3-piece outfit": the music comes first, pure and simple, and the aim is to sound like the most influential blues/rock band to emerge in the UK, and with the excellent quality musicianship that comes with CREAMFUL, you will be transported back to those heady psychedelic days of 1966,67 and 68 with such classics as White Room, Strange Brew, Sunshine of your love, I Feel Free, Tales of Brave Ulysses and many many more.

The band have built a solid reputation for accurate, punchy and faithful recreations of the unique Cream sound, and with all members citing the brilliant trio as their main musical influences, then its no wonder that CREAMFUL are the band to see if its an original and vintage Cream experience you are after.

The brilliant Chris Campbell on lead guitar, Spencer Pratten plays rhythm guitar, allowing the band to recreate the studio sound that three piece outfits are simply unable to do. The drummer is Barry Eaves, he decided that he wanted to join a rock tribute band CREAMFUL had a vacancy, he was very good at the audition, Nuff said! Bass player Rob Kirtley is a talented all round musician who despite his tender years is a great admirer of Jack Bruce and Cream.

The vocals are held down by John Norman, a blues man steeped in Cream history and influence, equally at home with a slow blues or a more punchy Cream rocker.

Creamful play to a wide ranging age group, having seen teenagers to 70 somethings rocking in the audience!

We have played pubs, parties, theatre gigs and the 2009 Cambridge Rock Festival.
