They come equipped with an inventive songbook full of instant classics led by catchy melodies, tight harmonies, clever arrangements and great lyrics.
Formed in late 2011 they released their debut single, double a-side Dear Michael / She Makes Me Nervous on 11th June 2012 gaining them rave reviews and radioplay from Absolute Radio, BBC Introducing and many local stations. 'Dear Michael' went on to win the award for best music video in the Brighton Music Awards 2013.
After a succesful year of shows the band began working on a debut album with world class engineer and producer Stuart Bruce. Bruce's experience of working with diverse artists (from Kate Bush to Yes) made him ideally placed to capture the creative essence of a band so hard to pigeonhole. The first fruits of this work, the eponymous 'Fragile Creatures', was upladed as a preview on their soundcloud page last Autumn. Unfortunately shortly afterwards tragedy struck when their mentor, the man who founded their independent record label (DNVMusic), passed away suddenly, putting the band on temporary hold. Expect big things when they return with their debut album in 2014, this is a band brimming with potential on the verge of greatness.
"Melodic, off-kilter and extremely catchy, it s kinda everything we absolutely adore about the Brighton-based alt pop quintet. It s got the quirkiness and harmonies of Belle & Sebastian, the edgy Britishness of Blur and the stylised indie flair of your Vampire Weekend types. We love it." Emerging Icons June 2013
"If you like your indie-pop clever, perky and fun we reckon you ll like this not dissimilar to early Lightning Seeds (think Pure not Three Lions )." someofitistrue.com June 2013
