A four-piece band, comprisingProg (vocals/blues harp/hand percussion)Rob (guitar/backing vocals),Chris (bass) andJim (dums).Growler play in a very hard and heavy way and like to have fun with some of the songs they play, deconstructing Britney Spears, Pink Floyd and Sugbabes(?!) as they go.
Audience age varies considerably as the music played spans generations - songs from the 1960s onwards are included in the set, so those who love their rock music will find themselves well catered for, although some of the songs have been adapted to our way of doing things, or 'Growlerised' as Jim puts it.
The band consider themselve most suited to Bike Rallies and this is the direction they're headed, and to date, they've played birthday parties, a wedding and the usual pub gigs.
