Since launching in 2014 they have impressed and excited audiences with their individual approach to the blues.
Victoria Bourne was the only white girl in her year at school and regularly sang gospel music at her local Baptist church. Her voice expresses the pure raw emotion of the blues variously described as spellbinding', 'haunting', 'a voice to die for,' 'stunning and impossible to ignore or forget .
They have performed regularly around the South West and Wales and will be extending their reach around the UK and Europe in 2014/15. Members of the Husky Tones have performed on the BBC in national and local radio, internationally, at venues including in London at the Union Chapel, the Jazz Cafe, Riverside Studios, at the Bologna Opera House and at major UK festivals.In the South West at venues including the Corination Tap, Southbank Centre, Bristol Fringe Bar, Bristol Bootlegger Bar,Three Tuns in Chepstow, Gascoyne Place, Bath, The Port of Call, The Ram Inn, Bussage, at Volksfest, Brisfest and Cotham Hill Street Party.
