The little rum club is an acoustic duo founded and based in Bristol.

The duo is fronted by Norwegian singer/songwriter Gulli Skatun and backed by locally regarded guitarist Josh Shield. Both with a diverse background in music and performance, we are currently studying for an honours degree at the Bristol Institute Of Modern Music.
We play a mixture of classic songs in a soul infused, gospel embellished acoustic style.
We have been working together for 5 months and in that time have played at over 50 events across Bristol and the surrounding area. As a group we have played at a range of events including weddings, birthdays and showcase evenings. Recent gigs include a launch night for a Bristol based fashion company and a showcase event for The Prom bar in Bristol. At present we play a number of acoustic nights at prominent local venues on a weekly basis.
As a band we can hire a P.A system for events and arrange a soundman if need. Unfortunately we cannot provide our own lighting rigs.

Members
Gulli Skatun Norwegian singer songwriter with a strong background in performing arts and music performance. She has a voice full of soul and a presence beyond her years goose bumps guaranteed.

Josh Shield Accomplished acoustic Guitarist from Bristol. Has been involved in a series of session musician roles for regarded Bristol musicians. Embracing a unique and innovative style of rhythm playing, his energy and keen musical interpretation keeps the excitement up all the way through.
