Two singers, two guitars, one bass, one drums = Lowfields.Reviewed by Leeds Music Scene for our first two track demo, recorded in 24 hours and only 3 months after forming, was dubbed "two tracks performed by highly talented and very promising young musicians" and that "the chief songwriter has a knack for writing songs that should be on your radio".
At the time of writing, Lowfields are stepping it up a gear and are in talks over supporting some big name bands at Escobar Wakefield and Leeds, have 5 gigs in February alone and are to host the opening night of a series of Wednesday night gigs at Leeds Elbow Rooms - being touted as "A Night With Lowfields And Friends".
The band play an exciting mix of Glasvegas style singalong choruses, The Cribs style furiousity, Interpol intensity and early Bloc Party atmospheric Alternative.
Likened to many, but sounding ultimately like none other, this is a band that could mean a lot more in the next two or three years to come.
The band will play almost any gig if given enough notice and love every minute of performing live.
Suitable for audiences between 14 and 60 (age matters not!)
