Manuel Da Costa is a twenty five year old singer songwriter based in Manchester.

Drawing inspiration from influences like Coldplay, Travis, Guillemots, The Divine Comedy and Sigur Ros, his songs encompass love, loss and everything else in between.

Not being the usual acoustic guitar folky-singer/songwriter type, his music moves from intimate and acoustic at one point to loud and edgy in the next, blurring the genres of singer/songwriter, Indie & Post Rock.

His recorded works include the 5 track E.P Glass Heart and the recently recorded album The Ghost of Summer Last both receiving good reviews in the local media and online e-zines. Sporadic gigs in his erstwhile home of Plymouth as well as Exeter, London and Oxford have gained him new fans over the past year.
