Palahniuk (Pala-nook) are Andrew Ralph (Vox, guitar), Shaun Potterton (Vox, Bass) and Chris Ralph (Vox, drums).
Formed in 2007 from frustrations with the state and offerings of the current music industry, they wanted to play something that they would want to hear.
Palahniuk have a variety to their sound and are as entertaining on-stage as off - With all band members contributing to the songs their style ranges from Feeder and Travis with a dash of The Beatles, a taste of Bon Iver with John Lennon undertones finished off with influences of raw and heavy rock distortion. They are the next generation Brit Rock.
Always in high demand, they have been on BBC IntroducingThree Counties no less than five times as well as featuring on the playlist through December 2010 January 2011. Playing prestigious venues such as The Dublin Castle (London), The Jericho Tavern (Oxford) The Cavern Club and The O2 Academy (both in Liverpool) its no surprise that theyre always called back for more with ..A high quality of songwritingthey could be giving the likes of Coldplay and Keane a run for their money (Oxford Promoter) and a sound described as an irresistible brand of new-wave rock (The New Roxette).
