So you could call it Renaissance Folk/Rock. As Blackmore's Night is Ritchie Blackmore and His wife Candice Night there are lots of songs in our set with hints of Rainbow. We cover for example 'Temple of the King' from the last Blackmore's Night album. And also 'Lady in Black' which was originally by Uriah Heap.
We also throw in a few more well known covers such as
'Moonlight Shadow' - Mike Oldfield 'Dignity' - Deacon Blue
'Later Tonight' - Pet shop Boys 'Thank-you' - Dido.
We prefer to play small cosy country pubs or local fete's in the summer but open to any event that needs some melodic music with a medieval feel to it. We love to dress up Medieval/Peasant/Pirate to add to the feel of the gig....Arrh!
We have our own compact P.A. System so we can all fit into quite a small space. We are mostly acoustic with Cajon drummer and just a few numbers on electric guitar.
We appeal to young kids and 35yrs to....Hole in the ground!
Just not really the 15-35 age bracket.
