The duo sing, play and banter their way through a show inspired by the music of The Corries; performing a selection of tunes from the much-loved songbook as well as a few satirical comedy songs which cast a sardonic eye on present-day Scotland.
The Sorries made their live debut in Edinburgh during December 2006. Since then they have played extensively around Scotland, from Lossiemouth s Warehouse Theatre and Aberdeen s Lemon Tree to the Isle of Eigg Community Hall and the Aberfoyle Folk Festival. They are regularly to be found entertaining Edinburgh Rugby fans on Magner s League and Heineken Cup match days with performances at the home of Scottish Rugby, Murrayfield Stadium.
Summer 2009 saw the release of debut album The Sorries during a three week run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The duo returned for further sell-out shows at the 2010 Fringe, and during August released their second album, Land of the Leal .
The duo have experience of, and are available for, a wide range of events; from music festivals and theatre dates to private parties and corporate events.
