The launch marked the outset of a 5-part album release, with the concluding 15-track album released on 1st December 2012. Throughout this journey, This Boy s priority is to provide enjoyment for their loyal fans whilst looking to engage with those who are yet to hear their euphoric music. The band has established a reputation for its highly energetic and exciting live shows, having had experience playing at festivals such as Beach Break Live and supporting the strongly acclaimed Brother and Bones and Films Of Colour .

The band is fronted by singer Rory Dewar whose unique voice, combined with the innovative guitar playing of Joe Colley and Simon Pitt, distinguishes their commercial music from the current mainstream market. Newest member, George Hyde has already begun providing the band with inventive musical ideas gleaned from his experience as a film, TV and media composer. All the while reinforced by the strong rhythmic foundations of bassist Craig Ferguson and drummer Joe Chivers.

This exciting mix of musical styles is reflected in This Boy s music, for example the allusions made to samba in Blessed from the second EP titled Two Sides To My Coin . At the same time, the band accommodates the mainstream market with their stadium anthems Walks On Water and Caring . What is perhaps most unique about This Boy, however, is that all promotion, management, artwork, photos, videos, websites, and even some production is performed by the members of the band, with no external support. This Boy s passion for success epitomises why they do what they do. However, success for This Boy is just the start of their journey...
